Formula One is the world's most expensive sport and it relies on the fuel tank to provide the fuel to power the racing car's engine. Maintaining a clean engine is an important aspect of the car and will increase the mileage and will be able to provide a more fuel efficient journey. As these Formula One events take place all over the world, it would be better if the race cars would be able to use some other form of fuel in their fuel tank as to be more environmentally friendly. With all of the media attention that surrounds Formula One events it can use its popularity to inform the public about the immediate need to find an alternative way than using fossil fuels to power not only the general public's vehicles, but the Formula One car as well.

Fuel has cause major problems within our environment. It has become a main topic in our everyday life, as well as with politicians who are trying to work out solutions with our fuel dependency. Because of the earth's gradual rise in temperature due to global warming, the fossil fuel we use in our fuel tanks produces emissions that need to be reduced in order to stop the current damage already done to our environment. Our efficiency with fuel has to do with the how much fuel we consume within our fuel tanks. If we lower our reliance of fossil fuels, then there is a good chance that we can save our environment for the future generations to come.
